When I saw a Taps Diseños handbag for the first time, the first thing I thought was, 'wow', these are traveling cans with a lot of history.
A handbag can have 1400 can lids, imagine 1400 people who opened a can because they were celebrating a birthday, they were cooling or partying because their football team won. Then Taps Diseños team collects, selects, and cleans them. After that, they are woven by talented Venezuelan artisans. Finally, the Taps Diseños handbags travel to know other borders, this time Samara, Costa Rica; carrying a part of that beautiful country that is Venezuela and its working people. What a wonderful story right? This is why I wanted to collaborate with Taps Diseños. I love how they honor life, especially the life of hundreds of Venezuelan women whose passion and talent are something to admire. The model in this photo is Lenis García, the founder of Taps Diseños. And I am also posing with one of the Taps Diseños handbags. I shot on my Canon 7D Mark ii + my canon 15-135mm lens. Location: Samara, Costa Rica. I had an amazing time photographing Nancy. She is a body talk therapist from Canada. It was amazing getting to know her and what her job is about, also about her incredible journey and how she became the shining positive girl she is now. The photos were taken Playa Samara.

I can say it was a wonderful experience. I found it so easy and heartwarming. So far this has been one of my favorite photoshoots. I recently had my very first wedding photoshoot, it was actually a post-wedding photoshoot; something simple but so authentic and fun, with such a gorgeous couple! The photos were taken on a harsh sunny day, still, the result was pretty good to me. Everyone was happy. A guy with horses was passing by whilst I was taking photos and I asked him to borrow me the horses, which he easily agreed (I am very grateful for that!), so at the end, everything just flowed with ease. I am constantly learning from this unique experiences. Scroll down this post to the bottom to watch the behind the scenes video. I shot on my Canon 7D Mark ii + my canon 15-135mm lens. For this week photoshoot, mother nature surprised. I had a lovely experience. In the first place, my neighbor was my model. I have to mention it was her first photoshoot ever and we managed to come out with beautiful and positive photos, but what made the occasion so special was having wild horses coming to us during the photoshoot and actually letting me photograph them. It was amazing! Scroll down this post to the bottom to watch the behind the scenes video. This photo session was very natural, I encouraged my model to feel free and just to enjoy the moment and the magical golden hour, the result was beautiful.
