I love traveling! More than traveling I love delicious, food full of flavours! And that is what this post is about.
I have visited more then thirty-five countries in the world: Italy, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, China, Mexico… ummmm you can almost smell the pasta, chorizo, pizza, or an amazing, full of taste Argentinean steak! Oooh, yes!
I want to inspire you by sharing my best recipes, my fun and joy, my passion and love!
Some time ago I visited Italy. I traveled a whole month from Northern Italy to Southern Italy: Milan, Verona, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, Catania, Syracuse and Palermo! This was an amazing experience! Once, as I was walking around in Naples, looking at the view of the Vesuvius, I met an old Italian man with whom I engaged in an interesting conversation. He told me this expression that remained in my head forever: "The best food is Italian food." Then he added, "But only the one made in Italy!"

Later on, I understood the truth of his words. Only by using authentic Italian ingredients can you truly appreciate the real taste of Italian pasta.
Today I am going to share with you my favourite recipe. So simple yet so good! It is a recipe made of the best Italian ingredients: pasta and seafood! I am speaking about linguine with mussels, to be more specific. I am going to show you how to make it really tasty!
This dish is very simple, you need only 5 ingredients:
- pasta (linguine)
- 2 sweet tomatoes
- 1 onion
- extra virgin olive oil! (I love the Italian branch Monini, but you can use another one if you like. Olive oil is very important, it brings flavours that can completely transform the dish!)
Here are the instructions:
Put 250g of pasta in boiling water, add a pinch of salt and leave it for 10 minutes.
While the pasta is cooking, preheat a frying pan, add olive oil, chop 1 onion and toss it in.
Ummm, do you feel smell that? It smells so good!
Now time for the mussels: don't forget to wash them first! Throw 500g of them into the frying pan and cover it. Give the mussels the chance to open and absorb the flavours of the oil and onion!
Chop 2 fresh sweet tomatoes, add them to the mixture in the pan and let it cook for about 3-5 minutes!
In the end, add kinsey or parsley. This smell! Ummm! I feel like I'm in Italy! This is paradise!
Check the pasta and make sure it's "al dente". When the pasta is ready, put it in the pan with the mussels, mix properly, add a little bit more olive oil and that is it - our mussels linguine is ready!
Remember: it is very important to cook with love and use fresh ingredients! Thus food will give all its grace and taste to you!
If you like my recipe, give it a thumbs-up! And share with us how you cook your pasta. I'd love to hear how you do it.
