Living in Moscow is one of the most interesting experiences I've ever had in term of lifestyle. Luckily, I haven't been negatively influenced by the powerful, almost imposed, rules of fashion.
Most people identify Russia as a cold country with a rich history and cultural heritage, followed by chronicles of sorrow. However, little by little, Russia has also gained another attribute.
The cosmopolitan Moscow evokes luxury and sophistication from whatever corner you look at it. Fashion is not a new phenomenon for Muscowians, in fact, the city stands as one of the most influential shopping destinations in Europe.
The richest and the "not so rich" people, spend lots of money on clothes and shoes. But if you are the kind of person who believes that to be beautiful all you need is a bright personality, the ability to be trendy on a humble budget and to smile, then the following video is perfect for you.
Whatever part of the world you may be from, keep it simple. Be you!
What I'm wearing in this video:
- Off-the-soulder dress: H&M
- Ballerina shoes: H&M
- Ring with stones: H&M
- Handbag: Zara
And here's the poem at the end of the video: Auténtica, from my poetry collection La que fui y la que:
Ahora si me reconozco.
Me he despojado del luto.
He salido de la concha.
Soy una perla.
Ninguna voz me encarcela.
Soy lo que soy.
Ahora sí me puedo hundir
en las aguas del mar,
hacer lo que se me antoje
porque seguiré siendo lo que soy;
tierna, sensible, confusa.
Dura, delicada, de nadie,
de todos, unica.
The great news? You don't need to be in your twenties to be fashionable. You don't need to be rich, all you need is to shine and to beat the heat this summer. Maybe with this off-the-shoulder dress from H&M?
What do you think about this outfit? What do you recommend for this summer?
Thank you for liking and sharing. I'd love to hear from you!
Tons of love,
