Today I was thinking about the different emotional stages we humans must face sometimes. And just as I was thinking about that, my eyes gazed upon my poetry collection book that I hadn't read in a long time. Instantaneously I felt the need to grasp it, so I reached out and opened it. I came across a poem called Algo.
Algo means something in English and it is about how I found out that my grief was gone and how hard to believe that was.
I wrote Algo in 2008 and I must confess that even thought the poem expresses freedom from grief, I did go back to that grief again years later. Since that return, I've been working on having the life I deserve, and have vowed not to settle for less. It may sound harsh but it's working; it is!
Traveling has opened my heart and mind; it has taken me to a new level of spirituality and calmness.
However, it has not lead me to leaving the little pleasures of life behind and, most importantly, it hasn’t cause me to forget where I came from. I came from this perfect universe, and I've been blessed enough to be here, to experience joy, fear, love... And because I’ve received so much I want to give, too, by sharing my uniqueness and transformation.
Today, As soon as I thought about all of this, I threw a casual outfit on, grabbed the book and ran to the park to record a video reading for you!
I’ve matched my outfit with my poem, I hope you enjoy it! Here’s the video of Algo, or Something in English
